The Connect The Dots Music Festival is the brainchild of Robert from indie rock band La Snacks [pictured above].

The Connect The Dots Music Festival is the brainchild of Robert from indie rock band La Snacks [pictured above].
On his MySpace page, Robert says he hopes to "connect Beaumont to the rest of the Texas music scene."
"It's kinda of an Austin meets Beaumont fest but that name sucks so we used connect the dots," he says.
The Connect The Dots Music Festival takes place August 22 and 23 at The Vortex on 11th Street in Beaumont, Texas.
The lineup includes:
Friday August 22
8 p.m. - DJ Totally Trashed
9 p.m. - Uptown (Beaumont)
10 p.m. - Meryll (Austin)
11 p.m. - Sharks From Space (Beaumont)
12 a.m. - Pat from Pataphysics (Austin)
1 a.m. - La Snacks (Austin/Beaumont)
Saturday August 23
8 p.m. - DJ Totally Trashed
9 p.m. - We Were Wolves (Beaumont)
10 p.m. - Daniel Francis Doyle (Austin)
11 p.m. - Molly Maguire's (Beaumont)
12 a.m. - Transmography (Austin)
1 a.m. - Ringo Deathstarr (Austin/Kinda Beaumont)
Admission is gonna be $10 for the weekend, if I understand the concept.
