1. Magic, man! - It's finally revealed that ancient supernatural magic is the reason for Sharknados in the first place. Finally! It all makes sense!

2. Time Travel - Turns out there are alter-dimensional-vortexes in the center of Sharknados. "You turned a Sharknado into a time machine" might be the best line of the franchise.

3. It's the Fast & Furious chapter of the "Sharknado" franchise - Rio? Check. Globe-hopping? Check. Car chase? Check. Numerous uses of the line "Family" in the screenplay? Check!

4. Steampunk! - From brass-and-gears decorated sets and an honest-to-goodness airship, it looks like Captain Nemo worked in the film's art department.

5. Fabio is The Pope - And he gives Fin a Dark Fantasy Sword with a built-in chainsaw, apparently from the Vatican vaults.

6. Chris Kattan is the Prime Minister of England - and essentially James Bond. The 007 homages running through the film are pure joy, including characters named Moore and Connery.

7. Clay Aiken is Q - otherwise known as Llewelyn, who shows our heroes the latest in anti-shark technology,

8. Tara Reid is a robot - sort of Iron Man and Vision rolled into one. She's even called "Wonder Woman" at one point.

9. Charo is the Queen of England - because why not?

10. Bret Michaels plays himself - strapped to the front of a double-decker bus playing a guitar solo during a shark attack.

11. Nova, again played by Cassandra Scerbo, shows up for the final battle dressed like Xena Warrior Princess - because why the hell not?

12. Bai Ling throws a Pokemon ball to kill sharks in Tokyo. What more do you need?

13. Dolph Lundgren shows up as a time-traveling warrior from the future. You're welcome.

Honorable mention: Do you come from a land down under? When the Sharknado hits Australia, the TV anchors warn their viewers: "You better run. You better take cover."
