Giulio Paradisi's eye-popping Satanic sci-fi supernatural horror flick The Visitor (1979) looks and feels like The Omen meets Close Encounters. The all-star cast includes Lance Henriksen, John Huston, Shelly Winters, Glenn Ford, Mel Ferrer, Sam Peckinpah and Franco Nero (as Space Jesus).
Paige Conner shines as the spooky young girl with psychokinetic powers at the center of the plot - which involves a Satanic cult trying to resurrect an ancient cosmic entity from space known as Zatteen (Satan!)
The Visitor is written by the legendary Ovidio Assonitis (Beyond the Door 1 & 3, Piranha 2, Man From Deep River, Madhouse, Tentacles, American Ninja 4 & 5). The director Giulio Paradisi meanwhile, is known primarily for Italian comedies (Tesoromio, Spaghetti House).
