SICK (2022) - While I miss the witty banter found in other Kevin Williamson scripts, his screenplay for "Sick" has a great concept and is presented as a masterclass in suspense. Director John Hyams (Universal Soldier: Regeneration) is no Wes Craven, but director of photography Yaron Levy has a great genre resume (Blood Drive, Black Summer, the Purge and Scream series). His cinematography is gorgeous and the film's bloody third act is worth the wait. Three stars.
